Description and Target Audience: American Heart Association certification in one-rescuer and two-rescuer adult, child, infant CPR, choking management of the conscious and unconscious, mouth-to-mask ventilation, bag-valve-mask ventilation and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training. This course is for students seeking certification in basic healthcare life support skills, initial or renewal.
Testing: Written exam (25 questions) which must be passed with an 84%. One-on-one skills testing required.
Course Length: 4 hours
Certification Length: 2 years
Includes: BLS for Healthcare Provider Student Manual and certification card.
Location: Cox College, Basement Room #3
Directions: Enter Cox College on North Jefferson, go into Cox College, go to the elevator or stairs on the left, and go down to the basement
